Chef Chris Golding’s Christmas Meals
Stoll were delighted to welcome back for the third consecutive year renowned Chef Chris Golding and his team who prepared Christmas meals for our annual Christmas Lunch. Around two hundred of our residents participated this year, with both Turkey and vegetarian options being delivered to our residents on Tuesday this week.
When Chris spoke to us last week, he talked about his motivations behind getting involved with Stoll and the importance of delivering Christmas meals this year.
‘It is great for family and friends to come together in a big team with it becoming a bit like our own Christmas. With more people having to isolate this year it is really important to give people a bit of a boost. My nephew Fynn helps every year and with him being in and out of lockdown he is really looking forward to it.
‘We’ve been very lucky that we’ve gotten volunteers from La Pantechnicon to support us this year and that with the increase in the number of meals we are providing that our suppliers have given us a lot of our items at cost price’
Chris and his team delivered around two hundred meals to Stoll for our staff to distribute across our sites on Tuesday in the run up to Christmas. We would like to thank him and his team for all their efforts in supporting Stoll and our beneficiaries.
