Stoll Receives £250k Grant from Forces Support
We would like to express our deepest thanks and gratitude to Forces Support for donating a £250k grant to complete our fire safety works across Stoll’s sites.
Forces Support launched March 2010 with the aim to create a national network of Forces Support outlets to reuse the funds needed to run the practical support project nationally. Forces Support continues to provide practical support to the families left behind when a member of the UK Armed Forces dies and use their national retail outlets to fund important projects around the U.K.
We expect the fire safety works to continue over the coming year and have granted Stoll residents the liberty to select a colour of their choosing for their door to be painted. In honour of this outstanding donation to our project, we will be commemorating Forces Support with a plaque at our housing door entrances. Stoll has been running the No Homeless Veterans campaign which supports the housing and independent living for veterans. This work is an essential regulation across our sites to ensure our residents’ comfort and peace of mind.
Stoll is really grateful for the support that Forces Support has given to support this vital work and we look forward to welcoming Carol Reynolds, Chief Executive at Forces Support visiting Stoll later in the year to thank her in person.
