Potential Employers and Training Opportunities

In just over a year our Employment Advisor has worked with more than 50 clients and has supported 26 people into employment. Some Veterans have gone on to work for Barclays, Jaguar Land Rover, British Airways, the NHS and Network Rail. We have funds available to help you access further training opportunities that may help you into employment or gain valuable skills.

Phillip, Accolade Security:

“It’s been a fantastic process to work with Stoll. There are very viable opportunities with us at Accolade Security for the right candidates and we are pleased to work with the Veteran community.”

After 12 years in the Army, Kofi began working with our Employment Advisor who helped him put together an updated CV, suggested various employment opportunities and recommended him to take a 2-month course with the NHS.

“When I left the army, I thought, what next? I didn’t know anything about getting a job, but the employment advisor helped to direct my actions. No one can do it for you. The employment advisor helped put me on the right path and in the right direction.”

Another resident who has benefited is Michael. He left the Army after serving in Kosovo and Iraq. Michael started a new job with Network Rail after working with the Employment Advisor for 5 months. He said:

“I think everything is down to the charities and without Stoll, I could be on the street.”
