No Homeless Veterans supports launch of West Midlands’ commitment to end veterans’ homelessness

The No Homeless Veterans campaign supports the launch of a new commitment to end veterans’ homelessness in the West Midlands.

The West Midlands Combined Authority has received a grant from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to prevent and relieve homelessness amongst veterans. As part of this, it has released a report examining the housing needs of the region’s 76,000-strong veterans community.

“Designing out veterans’ homelessness” celebrates the work that is already underway to support veterans, shines a spotlight on those areas where greater support and collaboration is needed, and introduces a framework for designing out homelessness.

The No Homeless Veterans campaign endorses and supports the report as well as the wider initiative to end veterans’ homelessness in the region.
