Ed is passionate about supporting ex-Servicemen and women to be independent. Since joining Stoll in 2011, Ed has overseen a rapid development of the organisation to address the housing and support needs of the most vulnerable Veterans in the UK. Under Ed’s leadership, two new award-winning supported housing schemes have extended the number of homes that Stoll provides.
Ed works with partners and major donors to fund Stoll’s services including the Outreach team, the Veterans’ Nomination Scheme and the health and wellbeing programme for beneficiaries.
Ed also actively contributes to improving Veterans’ housing policy. He leads the campaign on behalf of Cobseo’s Housing Cluster to reduce homelessness as close to zero as possible. His work with the Cluster, which he co-chairs, has resulted in securing a more co-ordinated approach to Veterans’ housing in the UK.
Ed is also a Board Member on Cobseo’s Executive Board and is Chairman of Governors at Hollickwood School in north London. Ed has worked in the voluntary sector for 20 years and prior to joining Stoll he was Chief Executive of SPEAR. He has an MBA-level qualification in charity management.
