Stoll Summer Party at Chiswick
On Thursday 19 August Stoll’s Chiswick War Memorial Homes held it’s summer party! Our veterans and guests were full to the brim with treats, goodies, live performances and play booths for kids and adults alike. On the day we welcomed young people aged 16-17 years old from NCS to create additional stations such as face painting, henna, arts and crafts and treasure hunting. We had great reviews from our mini residents who were inundated with laughter and cheers as they unravelled all the undiscovered treats.
We also had special guest visits from Chiswick’s local football club Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and Councillor Mayor Bishnu Gurung.
We would like to add special thanks to Chiswick’s local Waitrose store manager Sam and Co-op station store manager, Anil Shah, for continuously supplying refreshments and supporting the work we do and Stoll veterans over the years. Also thanks to The Two Foodies for providing delicious hot burgers.
Huge thanks to our veterans who baked up the tastiest treats and our Scheme Coordinator, James Hill, for organising this wonderful event.
See you again next year.
