Veterans’ Mental Health Service Visit

Our Director of Services, Claire Bendall and Minister for Defence People and Veterans, Leo Docherty visited St. Pancras Hospital and met with Op Courage including peer support worker, Gary Sell.

‘Op Courage’ recently launched by the NHS as a veterans’ mental health service. The NHS will be working closely with military and veteran charities to provide therapy and rehab services.

On the day of the visit, Leo Docherty spoke closely with the users of the service. It was very moving to hear individual experiences and the positive impacts the service has made.

It is great to have this free mental health service available for our veterans.
